Cyclocross World Champion Mathieu van der Poel has announced his race schedule for the winter. The Alpecin-Deceuninck professional is set to compete in a total of 14 cyclocross races in the 2023-2024 season.

The 28-year-old Dutchman will not start his cross-country campaign at the Exact Cross in Mol on 22 December 2023 as originally planned, but a week earlier at the X2O Trophy in Herentals. Following this, he will immediately compete in the two World Cup races in Antwerp (23.12) and Gavere (26.12).

Other World Cup races in which the five-time Cyclocross World Champion will participate include Hulst, Zonhoven, Benidorm, and Hoogerheide. MVDP will conclude this race schedule with the World Championship in Tabor on February 4, 2024, where he aims to defend his rainbow jersey.
